Lighting changes the sun, the sky, and the scene’s light for the whole map. Use it to compare a place by day and by night, or in different weather.

Set the time of day

Open Lighting

Click Lighting in the dock. Lighting cycle holds the time controls and Weather conditions holds the weather.

Move Time of day

Set it from 0 to 24 hours, in steps of 15 minutes. It starts at 12:00 the first time. Rageon remembers the last value you set.

Check the same place at night

Set Time of day to 22:00. Street lamps, interior lights, and sky change with it.

Rageon remembers these four values between sessions.

Shortcuts

Turn Real-time clock off before you compare two spots, so both are lit at the same hour.

Troubleshooting

Weather is disabled because the map has no weather list. The map still works and Time of day still applies.
