Two settings decide what the map contains: the DLC level, which sets how much of the game’s own content is placed, and Add-ons, which shows or hides your mods and Projects structures. Both live in Configure the view.

DLC level

A DLC level shows the map placements present up to an installed GTA V update. It is useful for seeing Los Santos as it was before a later update added buildings or props.
1

Open the setting

Click Configure the view → Rendering and find DLC level.
2

Find the levels

If Assembled content has no list, click Look for available levels. It reads Reading the game files… while it works.
3

Choose a level

Open Assembled content and choose a package. Each entry shows the package name and its release month (for example Dec/25) when known. The newest is marked Current.

Wait for the reload

Resolving the active set and rebuilding the LOD tree… appears and the world reloads. Afterward, a line under the selector shows how many YMAPs are active at this level.
An earlier level removes placements added by later updates. It does not roll back models or textures that a later patch repainted, so some places still look newer than the level suggests. Choose the level marked Current to return to the newest installed content. Without a prepared map, you see Without a generated library, there’s no content selection to switch. Finish Generate the map first.

Add-ons

Open Configure the view → Add-ons. It has three groups. Each row shows a name, a path, a count, a status badge, and a switch that shows or hides it. Changes apply immediately. FiveM mods and GTA V mods each have a switch in the header that turns all their rows on or off together. In Projects, each project has its own switch. Turning a mod off does not delete it.

Mod status

A mod that replaces a game file leaves that replacement on the map when you turn the mod off. The row reports how many files stay. Rageon does not restore the original game files.

Projects structures

New structures start Off. Turning one on puts it on the map right away. A saved structure appears at its place in the world, and the game pieces it replaces are hidden while it is on. Only saved content appears. After you save changes in Projects, return to Map to reload them.

Limits and plans

How many extra folders Map includes depends on your plan. Folders beyond the allowance are left out and show Not on the map. See plans.

Troubleshooting

The mod was missing when the map was generated, or its folder is outside your plan’s allowance. Check the folder order and your plan. Map prepares a new map by itself when your extra folders change.
The map is not prepared yet. Open Map and finish Generate the map.
No FiveM resource in your extra folders has .ymap files. Add a resource that does, or ignore the group.
No .rpf package in your extra folders has map content. Add one, or ignore the group.
Save a structure in Projects, then reopen the Add-ons tab.
The saved structure’s file was moved or deleted. Restore it, or turn the preview off. The project folder no longer exists. has the same fix.
Two enabled structures use the same part. Turn one of them off.
Rageon could not read your extra folders. Check that your extra folders still exist, then reopen Add-ons.
