Open Interiors and choose an MLO, such as apa_int_mp_h_01, an apartment. The model is assembled from its entities, and Summary counts rooms, portals, entities, and how many have no model. The fields on rooms, portals, and entities are readouts: you view and filter them, you do not edit them. What you can change is which layers are drawn, which entity sets are included, and the texture detail.

Inspect an MLO

1

Draw rooms and portals

Under Layers, turn on Rooms and Portals. Turn on See through walls to keep them visible behind geometry. Three more layers help diagnose entities: Bounding boxes shows entity bounds, Entities without model marks missing models, and Ignored entities marks shadow, reflection, and mirror entities left out of the visible model. All start off.

2

Select a room

Choose a row under Rooms (…). The room highlights and Entities narrows to it. Clear removes the filter.

3

Select a portal

Choose a row under Portals (…). Its opening highlights and the card shows the two rooms it connects.

4

Find an entity

Search by archetype and use Entity filters (Room, Entity Set, Only without model, Only ignored). Choose an entity to highlight it. Its card offers JSON, vector3, and vector4 buttons that copy its data and its position (and heading) inside the interior, ready for a script.

Ignored entities are ones used only for shadows, reflections, or mirrors, so they are left out of the visible model.

Select by clicking in the stage

Open Selection by click to choose what a click picks: Entities, Rooms, or Portals. Turn Entities off and Rooms on to reach a room behind furniture. Ctrl+click adds to the selection. A plain click on empty space clears it.

Entity sets and textures

1

Switch a set

If the interior lists entity sets, use Active under Entity sets (…), for example on v_int_15, the dealership, to toggle a set or pick a variant from a family; None excludes every variant in that family. The interior’s contents change. If no sets are listed, choose another interior for this step. Clicking the row itself only highlights its boxes and filters the entity list.

2

Compare texture detail

Turn HD textures off and on to compare. It uses the higher-detail textures the MLO ships, when it has them.

Find missing models

Archetypes without model (…) lists entities whose model Rageon could not find in your game folder. Choose one to filter the entities to it. Copy list copies every name, one per line. Capture mode hides all interior layers, cards, and selection controls. See Image capture.

Troubleshooting

The detailed inspection failed, though the model and counts may still show. Choose the interior again. If it keeps failing, check your data sources.
