Clothing lists wearable pieces, including decals and ped props. Recognized freemode pieces show the component or prop slot and drawable number used by game scripts.

Find a freemode piece

1

Show only freemode wearables

Choose Clothing, click Options, and turn on Freemode peds only. Story and cutscene ped clothing disappears, leaving pieces for mp_m_freemode_01 and mp_f_freemode_01.

Search and pick a variation

Search the readable name or the filename. Each texture variation of a piece gets its own row. Open one and the preview shows that variation. With All packs selected, identical copies of a labeled piece are merged. Pick a pack to see that pack’s own copies. After switching from a specific pack to All packs, search again if the results still show that pack’s copies.

Read the IDs

Clothing info (or Prop info for props) lists Friendly name, the Component or Prop anchor, Drawable, Texture, and Gender. These are the numbers you pass to the game, so copy them from here.
The number of rows can exceed the total in the status, because each variation is a row.

A name carries the slot, the drawable, the texture, and m or f for mp_m_freemode_01 or mp_f_freemode_01. Clothing slots map to SET_PED_COMPONENT_VARIATION and props map to SET_PED_PROP_INDEX. Story-ped pieces keep their filename. To edit a wearable’s textures, see Open in Viewer and Projects.
