# Export from the Viewer

> Send a vehicle, weapon, interior, or prop to an export queue.

The **Export** menu above the stage adds the selected asset to a queue. It does not start an export, and the Viewer stays open.

It is disabled until you select an asset, and for **Peds** and **Clothing**.

**1. Open the Export menu**

Select an asset, such as `prop_bench_01a`, and open **Export**. It lists your queues. A queue that is still running is disabled.

The Export menu on a prop.

**2. Choose a queue**

Pick a queue, or **New queue** to create one. A confirmation names the queue.

> [!WARNING]
>
> The queue gets the original asset, not what you see in the stage. Outfits, paint, parts, extras, weapon components, interior entity sets, camera, and lighting are not carried over.

Open the **Export** tab to set the output folder and options and to run the queue. See [Export](/export/overview.md). To save what you see as a picture, use [Image capture](/viewer/image-capture.md).

## Troubleshooting

> **The items are already in this queue.**
>
> The asset is already in that queue. Use the existing item.

> **Select an item to add.**
>
> Select a vehicle, weapon, interior, or prop first.
