# FAQ

> Short answers to the questions modders ask most, with a link to the page that explains each one.

> **Do I need an account to use Rageon?**
>
> Yes. Nothing opens before you sign in, not even on the free plan. You sign in on the website from your browser, and a new account is created there the first time. See [Sign in](/start/sign-in.md).

> **What does my plan limit?**
>
> Your plan sets how many computers can sign in, how many projects you can save, how many textures and structures a project holds, how many interiors a structure holds, how many FiveM servers you can link, how many extra folders the Map loads, and whether you can run export queues. Exports and captures also have a weekly allowance. The numbers are on the [pricing page](https://rageon.dev/pricing).

> **Does Rageon change my GTA V installation?**
>
> No. Rageon reads your game files and writes your work to a project and to the folders you choose. You install the exported files yourself. See [Projects](/projects/overview.md).

> **How do I load an exported resource on my server?**
>
> Export into a folder inside the server's `resources/` folder, or into a linked server directly. Then add `ensure` followed by the folder name to `server.cfg` and restart the server. Rageon never edits `server.cfg`. See [Export as a resource](/projects/export.md).

> **Can I see my changes in game without exporting every time?**
>
> For a structure, yes. Hot reload sends the open structure to a FiveM server running on your computer, and a connected player sees the changes after a short pause. It does not reload rooms, portals, lights, entity sets, or emergency vehicles. See [Hot reload](/projects/hot-reload.md).

> **What is rageon-bridge?**
>
> A resource that Rageon installs on your FiveM server. Hot reload, weapon skins, and in-game texture swaps need it, and you start it with `ensure rageon-bridge` in `server.cfg`. Install it from **Settings** › **Bridge**. See [Bridge](/settings/bridge.md).

> **Can I use my own mods in Rageon?**
>
> Yes. Add the folders that hold them under **Directories** in **Settings** › **App**. What is in those folders wins over the base game, and you can filter the Assets list to show only **Mod** assets. See [App settings](/settings/app.md) and [Browse assets](/assets/browse.md).

> **The Map says it has to generate the map. How long does it take?**
>
> On some computers it takes hours. Where a download is offered, **Download ready-made map** skips the wait, but it holds only the game world, not the mods in your extra folders. Choose **Generate on this computer** if you want those on the map. See [Generate the map](/map/library.md).

> **How do I get a model into Blender?**
>
> Select the file in Assets and use **Export** › **Render** to save a GLB. For many models at once, add them to a queue in the Export tab with **Model output** set to **GLB**. See [Export files](/assets/export-files.md) and [Export settings](/export/settings.md).

> **Where do I find the component, drawable, and texture numbers of a clothing piece?**
>
> In Assets, choose **Clothing** and open the piece. **Clothing info** lists the component or prop slot, the drawable, the texture, and the gender. Turn on **Freemode peds only** in **Options** to hide story ped clothing. See [Clothing](/assets/clothing.md).

> **What is the difference between the Export tab and a project's Export?**
>
> The Export tab converts many game models and interiors in a queue, as GLB or as the original files. A project's **Export** builds one FiveM resource from your texture edits, structures, props, and emergency vehicles. See [Export](/export/overview.md) and [Export as a resource](/projects/export.md).

> **Why can't players get into my interior?**
>
> A structure with rooms needs at least one Entrance, a portal from a room to the street. Without it, the player has no way in. See [Portals and openings](/projects/structures/portals-and-openings.md) and [Your first interior](/projects/structures/first-interior.md).

> **Does AI texture generation use credits?**
>
> Yes. Credits are charged when you send the request, and the estimate sits next to **Generate**. A candidate that fails or is blocked by the content filter gets its credit back. You buy credits on the website. See [AI generation](/projects/texturing/ai-generation.md) and [Credits](/account/credits.md).

> **Can I use Rageon offline?**
>
> For a while. After the last online check, the app keeps opening for up to 7 days, and the status bar shows how long is left. AI generation, the weekly quota, and credit balances still need a connection. See [Offline](/help/troubleshooting.md#offline).

> **What happens if I move to a smaller plan?**
>
> You can still open and edit everything you have, but you can only export what fits the new plan. Servers beyond the new limit stay in your list and stop receiving exports. See [Projects](/projects/overview.md#limits-and-plans).
