# Export settings

> Choose the output folder, file format, textures, and speed for a queue.

Every queue has its own settings, and they lock while it runs.

Settings for a queue with items.

Pick the **Output folder** before you start. **Open the folder when finished** opens it after a run that exported at least one item, but not after **Stop**.

## Options

| Option | What it does | Default |
| - | - | - |
| **Files** | **Missing** reuses finished outputs and redoes incomplete ones or those exported with different options. An original or raw file that already exists may be reused without checking that it is complete. **All** overwrites the files of Pending and Failed items. | **Missing** |
| **Model output** | **GLB** converts the `.ydr`, `.yft`, or `.ydd` into a model for Blender and other 3D programs. **Original** copies the game file as is. **Both** writes the two side by side. | **GLB** |
| **Geometry** | **Viewer** drops the mesh only the game engine draws correctly: the propeller disc and the outer hair layers. **Raw** keeps everything in the file. | **Viewer** |
| **Skeleton (.yft only)** | Writes the mesh with its skeleton (glTF skin) instead of a static mesh. | Off |
| **Textures** | **PNG** or **DDS** also writes the textures as separate files next to the model. The GLB keeps its embedded textures either way. | **None** |
| **Workers** | How many items convert at once, from 1 to 8. More workers use more memory. The gain depends on the models, CPU, and disk. | 4 |

**Geometry**, **Skeleton**, and **Textures** do not apply to **Original**, because the file is copied without conversion. Interiors always export as GLB with embedded textures.

## Which output to choose

* Pick **GLB** to open the model in Blender or another 3D program. Textures are already inside, so leave **Textures** on **None** unless you want loose image files to edit.
* Pick **Original** to copy game files into a folder, for example into a resource. They stay unchanged.
* Pick **Both** to keep the two side by side.
* For loose textures, choose **PNG** for general editing or **DDS** for the game's own format.
* Turn on **Skeleton (.yft only)** when you need a vehicle's or prop's rig in your 3D program. It only affects `.yft` files.
* Use **Raw** geometry when the converted model is missing parts.
* Keep **Files** on **Missing**. Choose **All** to replace a file you suspect is incomplete. It only affects Pending and Failed items. To run a finished item again, remove it and add it again, or reopen Rageon.

## Item properties

Select one item to see its **Output**: the file names it will write. With **Both**, both names appear. Check this before you start to spot two items that would write the same file. A failed item also shows its full error here.
