# Peds

> Capture complete peds exactly as they ship, with the clothing they already wear.

**Peds** mode renders each selected ped as the game defines it, with its default outfit. To capture individual clothing pieces on a body, use [Mannequin](/capture/mannequin.md). To dress a ped yourself and save one image, use the Viewer ([Clothing](/viewer/clothing.md) and [Image capture](/viewer/image-capture.md)).

Peds mode with a search for two ped names and four rows found.

## Capture peds

**1. Open Peds**

Click **Capture**, then **Peds**. Search by model name, for example `a_m_y_hipster_01`. Use commas to find several: `a_m_y_hipster_01, mp_m_freemode_01`.

The same ped can be listed more than once, one row per game pack that ships it. Rows with the same name write the same file; add `{{assetId}}` or `{{dlc}}` to the **Name template** to keep them apart.

**2. Frame the ped**

Click **Edit** on a camera. Check at least one ped first: the editor uses your checked models. Open **Sample model** and pick a ped to see the framing on it. See [Cameras](/capture/cameras.md).

The camera editor on a ped.

**3. Set lighting and output**

Adjust [lighting and rendering](/capture/preview-and-environment.md), then the format, size, and destination in [Output](/capture/output.md).

**4. Click Capture**

Every selected ped gets one image per camera.

## Troubleshooting

> **No renderable models here. Change the category or clear the search.**
>
> No ped matches the search. Clear it or change **Source** under **Options**.
